With the Step Specialist EP, Process Rebel delivers three bass-driven, garage dub excursions. First up is Step Specialist (How It Go Version ft. Profisee) where the featured Edinburgh, UK vocalist flows poetic atop a thumping gallop, woven into a spacious effects-laden atmosphere.
Next is an instrumental version of the same tune where subtle thematic linkages highlight a smooth and harmonically rich arrangement. Last in line is Zero Dub - a deep and heavy stepper that flips it up with some swinging drums and piano stabs that evoke the dub echo of some ghostly past-life tango.
